March/April 2026

March and April are filled with long weekends, Easter and inevitable short weeks so our hours will vary considerably during this time. Dr Lydia is back from her trip home to Penang for Chinese New Year and Tracey will be working her usual hours before her trip to Africa in May with the exception of a quick trip to visit Steve’s Dad in Brisbane over the March long weekend.

Sadly with Isla’s university timetable changing this year she has decided to take an opportunity with more flexible hours which gives her options to work more when her studies permit. We will all miss Isla's smiling face, engaging conversations and efficiency at the front desk and we wish her all the best for her last year of study. We are currently training a new staff member so you may see a different face at the front desk when you come in for your check-up. MarionCC staff have been doing a stellar job juggling studies, other work and their families as well as adapting to our changing work schedule from week to week. Hopefully this will continue with our new staff member. Sometimes there are unavoidable clashes or illness and you may find Tracey or Dr Lydia at MarionCC on their own. We do our best to fulfil all roles on those days and we appreciate your patience when this occurs.

We have our fingers crossed for some normal autumn weather (whatever that is?) over the coming months. Hopefully some cooler mornings and evenings for better sleeping and pleasant days to enable us to enjoy time outdoors in the garden or exercising. Be kind to yourself and enjoy some downtime. Rest, recuperation and fresh air are just as important for our health.

A celebration lunch for Dr Lydia’s birthday as well as welcoming both Bella and Irene to MarionCC. We missed Nikita on this day so we’re already planning our next lunch date!
